2027 Apprenticeship – Electrical & Mechanical (Victoria)

About the role

We are launching the KONE 2027 Apprenticeship Program in Victoria, offering 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprenticeships in electrical and mechanical trades. Participants will work on real lift and escalator projects while completing TAFE studies.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside qualified electrical and mechanical technicians to develop practical, on‑the‑job skills.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance and modernization of KONE elevators and escalators across Victoria.
• Learn industry safety standards, regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school or hold a High School Certificate (or equivalent).
• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a current C Class driver licence.
• Genuine interest in electrical and/or mechanical trades and willingness to work at heights and confined spaces.

Required skills

• Electrical trade knowledge.
• Mechanical trade knowledge.
• Understanding of lift installation, elevator maintenance and escalator modernization.
