Field Service Technician – Electrical Doors & Access

About the role

KONE is looking for a mechanically‑minded Field Service Technician (Electrician) to join its Doors team in Sydney. You will service, maintain and commission automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across a wide range of buildings, from low‑rise housing to skyscrapers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates.
• Respond to call‑outs and breakdowns promptly.
• Perform installation and commissioning activities for new equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with KONE policies, health and safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high‑quality service and support.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Experience in doors or industrial maintenance is highly regarded.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Full driver’s licence and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality and excellent customer service.
