Travel Consultant – Canberra (Government Portfolio)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our Canberra team, supporting a dedicated government portfolio. You will manage end‑to‑end travel arrangements, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless booking experience for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange international and domestic air, car, hotel and ground transportation bookings using Sabre GDS.
• Handle complex fares, ticket exchanges, Phase IVs and itinerary changes accurately.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of government clients.
• Meet service level agreements and adhere to ticketing and productivity guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager.
• High proficiency with a GDS, preferably Sabre.
• Strong attention to detail when managing complex itineraries.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and drive sales and service excellence.
