Transport Allocator

About the role

As a Transport Allocator at CHILL you will be at the centre of our temperature‑controlled logistics operation, ensuring schedules stay on track, drivers are redirected when needed and customers are kept informed.

Key responsibilities

• Build and coordinate daily transport schedules, allocations and delivery requirements.
• Keep drivers moving by solving problems on the road before they become missed deliveries.
• Plan and adjust routes to maintain on‑time deliveries.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers and warehouse teams when changes occur.
• Own transport administration, reporting and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and resolve process bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in transport allocation, dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations under Heavy Vehicle National Law.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of metro and regional transport networks.
• Direct communicator able to handle drivers, customers, warehouse teams and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with BFM and HACCP requirements; cold‑chain experience is an advantage.
