Trainee Educator – Early Childhood (Full‑time)

About the role

Goodstart is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Trainee Educators at the Boronia Heights centre. You will work 38 hours per week while studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, families and team members.
• Support the education programme and contribute to daily classroom activities.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and uphold National Quality Standards.
• Participate in reflective practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Permanent right to work in Australia and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm, positive attitude and flexible availability for early years education.
• Proof of immunisation against MMR and pertussis or willingness to receive it.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (via Geccko platform).
