About the role

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) seeks an internationally recognised scholar to provide academic and research leadership as Professor of Organisation Studies within the Organisations, Work and Operations Discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Provide intellectual and research leadership in Organisation Studies and maintain an active, internationally recognised research programme.
• Lead and contribute to competitive research funding applications and major collaborative initiatives.
• Build national and international research collaborations, partnerships and networks.
• Mentor and develop early‑ and mid‑career researchers, supporting their publications, grant applications and career progression.
• Contribute to high‑quality teaching, HDR supervision, curriculum development and academic service.

Required profile

• PhD in Organisation Studies, Management or a closely related discipline.
• Outstanding research record appropriate to a Level E Professor, with high‑impact publications and a strong international reputation.
• Demonstrated success in securing competitive research funding and leading collaborative projects.
• Proven experience mentoring early‑ and mid‑career researchers and supervising higher degree research students.
• Evidence of academic leadership, service and a commitment to an inclusive research culture.
