Trade Counter Assistant (Civil) - Marsden Park

About the role

Reece Civil, Australia's leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant for its Marsden Park branch. You will help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need for major projects, while also keeping customers happy and the branch running smoothly. No industry experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick and pack orders and carry out stock control
• Maintain shop floor displays and keep the branch safe, organised and welcoming
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Continue upskilling through on-the-job training

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience and enjoyment of helping people face to face and by phone
• Able to pick orders accurately and keep information accurate
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems
• Clean, valid driver's licence; a valid forklift licence is ideal but not essential
• Wants to develop their career locally, within the wider network or at head office
