Temporary Full‑Time Intern Pharmacist (38 hrs/week)

About the role

This temporary full‑time internship provides a structured, hands‑on experience within the pharmacy department of a busy tertiary hospital. You will rotate through diverse clinical areas, gaining exposure to medication review, patient counselling and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in supervised clinical medication reviews and contribute to patient‑centred care.
• Assist with dispensing, preparation and documentation of medicines under pharmacist supervision.
• Engage in patient counselling sessions and health‑education activities.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support safe medication use.
• Complete required training and documentation for the National Intern Training Program.

Required profile

• Eligible for supervised practice with AHPRA and enrolment in the National Intern Training Program.
• Strong willingness to learn in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve medication‑related issues.
• Commitment to ethical and legal standards in pharmacy practice.
