Technical Writer – 6 Month Contract at Balcatta Support Centre

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Technical Writer for a 6‑month contract at its Balcatta Support Centre in Western Australia. You will document service functions across the Integrated Facilities Management portfolio, turning operational practices into clear performance statements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structured performance statements describing service functions and expected outcomes.
• Analyse service processes, workflows and functional activities to ensure accurate documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and consultation sessions with operational teams, functional leads and subject‑matter experts.
• Apply standardised templates, terminology and documentation conventions across all streams.
• Coordinate review cycles, incorporate feedback and maintain version control.

Required profile

• Experience producing structured documentation (procedures, service descriptions, operational content) in complex service environments.
• Background working in multidisciplinary operational settings such as facilities management, hospitality or logistics.
• Proven ability to gather, interpret and translate operational information from varied stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and document‑governance discipline.
