Technical Production Coordinator

About the role

Miimi & Jiinda, an Indigenous‑owned Australian fashion and lifestyle brand, is seeking a highly organised Technical Production Coordinator to oversee product execution from sampling through bulk production. The role is remote and works closely with the Founder and COO to keep collections on schedule and aligned with the brand’s cultural storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production timelines, tracking milestones, approvals, and deliverables from sampling to bulk manufacturing.
• Maintain communication with makers, suppliers, patternmakers, and contractors, flagging delays or risks early.
• Support fittings, garment refinements, and manage technical comments, fit updates, and production notes.
• Document and communicate technical details, ensuring consistency across fit, finishes, trims, and overall garment execution.
• Handle day‑to‑day liaison with external makers and suppliers, overseeing trims, accessories, and packaging requirements.
• Assist with product and collection workstreams, keeping samples, production notes, and approvals well organised.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fashion production and garment coordination.
• Strong understanding of fittings, sampling, technical documentation, and production flow.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple moving parts.
• Calm under pressure, solutions‑focused, and collaborative with low ego.
