Team Leader - Front Office

About the role

Park Hyatt Sydney is recruiting a professional Team Leader to join its Front Office team. The role supports the Front Office Management Team in delivering a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service, in line with the department's concept statement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Management Team in managing the department efficiently, according to the established concept statement.
• Ensure all Front Office staff know the hotel's products and services, current promotions, policies and other important information.
• Help develop the skills and effectiveness of all Front Desk employees through training, coaching and mentoring.

Required profile

• Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
• Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.
• Previous hotel reservation experience preferred.
• Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Computer skills, especially MS Office, email, Opera and basic systems interfaces.
