Tax Advisory Manager

About the role

KPMG’s Tax Advisory team is seeking a Manager to support a diverse portfolio of private, mid‑market and listed clients across Australia. You will help clients anticipate how tax legislation impacts their strategic decisions and guide them toward sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex tax matters, including domestic and international structuring and cross‑border transactions.
• Assist with tax authority reviews, audits and disputes.
• Provide tax advice on asset acquisitions, divestments, due diligence, financing arrangements and IPO structuring.
• Maintain regular client contact, deliver presentations and attend meetings with senior leaders.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to produce high‑quality, client‑ready deliverables and present them to senior leadership.
• Experience in tax advisory within a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional services firm.
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar, with a CA or CPA designation.
