Talent Advisor (People & Capability)

About the role

NTI, Australia's leading specialist insurer, is looking for a Talent Advisor (internally called Advisor - People & Capability) to join its People & Capability team. The role focuses on recruiting while offering high visibility across the business and close work with leaders on how talent is attracted and onboarded. It suits an experienced recruitment or generalist HR coordinator ready for the next step, or a seasoned Talent Advisor seeking a fresh challenge.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple business areas
• Run candidate phone screenings and support initial assessments
• Coordinate and support interviews
• Partner with hiring leaders to give informed candidate recommendations and recruitment insights
• Build talent pipelines and source candidates through multiple channels
• Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience
• Help implement a new Applicant Tracking System and refine recruitment processes and the candidate experience
• Provide general P&C advice and support across people initiatives as required

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or generalist HR
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider People & Capability team
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
• Attention to detail and organisation
• Interest in building capability across recruitment and broader HR disciplines

Required skills

• Experience with people systems, especially HiBob, is highly regarded
