Talent Acquisition Specialist – Gaming & Media Recruiter

About the role

Spawnpoint Media is looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment across its gaming and media business. Based in Melbourne, you will manage the full hiring lifecycle for both corporate functions and creative roles such as actors, writers, artists, set builders and production specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment from job ad creation to candidate onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and present high-quality candidates.
• Utilise and maintain the talent tech stack, including Team Tailor, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monday.com and Discord.
• Research industry trends and salary benchmarks to ensure competitive offers.
• Source talent through LinkedIn, YouTube Ads, forums, referrals and other niche platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and manage the negotiation and offer process.
• Provide a consistent, inclusive candidate experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the creator economy, gaming or media sectors.
• Strong ability to understand and source for unique, creative roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
