Systems Engineer – Windows Infrastructure

About the role
The Systems Engineer will lead design, implementation and automation of complex Windows infrastructure solutions for AWS Region Services in Australia. You will work on large‑scale server fleets, Active Directory domains and enterprise‑wide automation using modern IaC practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver automated Windows infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code.
- Architect, implement and maintain Active Directory and domain controller topologies across multiple security domains.
- Create PowerShell and Python automation workflows for system administration, patching and fleet management.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers and review code changes for scalability and security.
Required profile
- Australian citizenship with eligibility for Government Security Clearance.
- 5+ years of systems engineering, SRE, DevOps or Windows server administration experience.
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment and handling enterprise‑scale automation.
Required skills
- Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
