Systems Administrator – IT/OT Infrastructure

About the role

Arc Infrastructure is seeking a Systems Administrator to support its IT/OT environment on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. Based at Perth Airport, you will work within a dynamic team that maintains critical rail and transport infrastructure systems across Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and support a range of IT/OT servers and systems, including Microsoft Server OS, System Centre, VMware, SolarWinds, Hybrid Exchange, Azure, M365, Cohesity, F5, Pure Storage and Citrix.
• Execute project tasks that enable delivery of IT/OT initiatives and ensure systems remain stable and up‑to‑date.
• Perform proactive monitoring, implement security standards based on the NIST framework, and support business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as processes, test plans, architecture diagrams and the technology knowledge base.
• Mentor Service Desk and Desktop Support staff, and contribute to the design of the Server Standard Operating Environment (SOE).

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar systems administration role.
• High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, CCA, CCNA, F5) are desirable.
• Current C‑class driver’s licence.
