Systems Administrator I

About the role

Reporting to the IT Director, the Systems Administrator I will ensure secure operation, maintenance and administration of end‑user systems and cloud services in a cloud‑first, security‑focused environment aligned with ISO 27001 controls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 support, manage ITSM tickets and adhere to SLA targets.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (MFA, Conditional Access, SSO) and manage onboarding/off‑boarding, access reviews and privileged access management.
• Maintain Intune and JAMF environments, enforce compliance policies, and remediate non‑compliant devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and security operations (Defender alerts, incident triage).
• Maintain core infrastructure components such as AD, DNS, DHCP and virtualization platforms.
• Administer backup solutions (Veeam or equivalent), perform restore testing and produce audit evidence.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts and execute change‑management procedures with proper approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Helpdesk or SysAdmin experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune (required) and JAMF (asset management).
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, basic networking, and backup technologies.
• Understanding of MFA, Conditional Access, least‑privilege principles and basic security monitoring.
