Entry-Level Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

Launch your cybersecurity career with a leading Microsoft‑focused consultancy in Brisbane. As an Entry‑Level Cybersecurity Consultant you will work alongside experienced consultants to help clients strengthen their security posture using Microsoft security technologies and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cybersecurity assessments and reviews.
• Support implementation of Microsoft security solutions.
• Help clients improve compliance with the ACSC Essential Eight.
• Assist with Microsoft Defender deployments and configuration reviews.
• Participate in security monitoring, reporting and investigations.
• Contribute to security documentation, policies and procedures.
• Work with senior consultants on client engagements and projects.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging security threats and Microsoft security capabilities.

Required profile

• 6 to 12 months experience in a cybersecurity or security operations role.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Defender technologies.
• Basic knowledge of the Australian Cyber Security Centre Essential Eight framework.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Customer‑focused mindset and Australian working rights.
