Support Worker - Children Services, Dubbo

About the role

Westhaven is recruiting a Support Worker for its Children Services in Dubbo. The role provides primary support to children and young people with disabilities, helping them build lasting foundations and live independently. 24/7 availability is highly valued because the young people need support around the clock.

Key responsibilities

• Guide daily living skills and foster independent personal growth
• Facilitate active community access, social activities and key appointments
• Provide consistent, high-quality care that helps young people thrive

Required profile

• Current NSW driver's licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• NDIS worker screening check and paid NSW WWCC clearance
• A can-do attitude and willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR)
• Valid, independent Australian working rights (the SCHADS Award applies; visa sponsorship is not offered)
• Candidate with lived experience or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples are particularly welcomed

• Pay of $36.22-$39.53 per hour plus casual and shift loadings, with 12% superannuation
