Support Worker - Adult and Children Services

About the role

Westhaven, a regional NSW disability support provider, is recruiting Support Workers for its Adult and Children Services. The role is advertised as a permanent part-time position offering a mix of career stability, flexible hours and person-centred care. Applicants must hold valid, independent Australian working rights, as visa sponsorship is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised care to clients of all ages, including personal care, daily living skills and emotional support.
• Plan and attend appointments, school activities and social outings to build skills and inclusion.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children while helping adults maintain their independence.
• Complete daily case notes, incident reports and other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Reliable, empathetic and passionate about social justice.
• Availability for set shifts across a 24/7 roster (mornings, evenings and sleepovers) is highly regarded, especially for residential and mixed-mode roles.
• Experience supporting complex needs, mental health or behaviours of concern is beneficial.
• Current NSW driver's licence, First Aid/CPR, WWCC and NDISWC, and willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register.
