About the role
As the Supply Operations Lead at Northrop Grumman Australia, you will head a high‑performing logistics team supporting the MQ‑4C Triton programme. You will ensure that aircraft, tooling and equipment are available when needed, while driving continuous improvement in a complex defence environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop and manage a team of warehousing professionals, including workforce planning, training and performance management.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, warehousing operations and distribution to meet Triton maintenance and operational requirements.
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of aircraft and non‑aircraft parts.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements and support complex logistics across multiple stakeholders.
- Supervise tooling, ground support equipment and calibration activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain compliance with Defence, export control, warehousing and safety regulations, including ITAR obligations.
- Drive governance, reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives across warehousing and distribution functions.
- Build strong relationships with Defence personnel, suppliers, freight partners and internal programme teams.
Required profile
- People‑focused logistics professional with experience leading warehousing, logistics or supply‑chain operations, preferably in defence or aviation.
- Strong leadership ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
- Proven experience managing inventory, distribution and warehouse compliance activities.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with Defence, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain and maintain an ADF NV1 security clearance.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Defence logistics systems such as MILIS and CAMM2.
- Experience with inventory management and warehousing operations.
- Familiarity with export‑control and safety compliance (ITAR).
