Supply Officer – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

The Supply Officer (ERP Purchasing, Codification Support) joins KBR's Supply Team in Sydney, reporting to the Supply Manager. This permanent full‑time position focuses on day‑to‑day purchasing, codification and catalogue management while identifying cost‑saving opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and sparing activities to align with lifecycle and support targets.
• Monitor engineering changes, flagging risks or issues and managing inventory logistics to maintain operational readiness.
• Source alternative materials during shortages and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate master data in ERP, including stock codes, supplier details and codification.
• Support lifecycle cost analysis, manage obsolescence, configuration data and disposal processes.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or logistics engineering within Defence or a related technical industry.
• Eligibility for a Baseline Defence Security Clearance (or higher) and ITAR clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP platforms used in Defence logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems and procurement processes.
• Experience with ILS, sparing analysis and lifecycle supportability.
