Superintendent – Rail Track Projects

About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our growing Rail team in Queensland, initially supporting the Track delivery of the QTMP Project at Ormeau. You will own day‑to‑day site operations, leading project teams and subcontractors to safely deliver works on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of multi‑disciplinary rail and track projects, including site scoping, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management and execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, promoting DTI’s capabilities and supporting tender preparation.
• Manage project performance through cost control, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Provide leadership and oversight of project teams, including workforce planning, supervision, competency compliance and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and rail industry requirements by implementing project plans and conducting risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising track activities and construction of track, signalling and overhead wiring.
• Track Safe Working Certification (or ability to obtain) and medically fit for rail maintenance duties.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License and First Aid Training preferred.
