About the role

The Student Wellbeing Leader – Coordinator will oversee the wellbeing programme for students at John Pirie Secondary School. This position is responsible for creating a supportive environment that promotes mental health, safety, and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement student wellbeing strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate with teachers, counsellors, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
• Monitor student wellbeing indicators and produce regular reports for senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor wellbeing staff, ensuring best practice standards.
• Organise wellbeing events, workshops, and training sessions.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in education, counselling, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in student wellbeing or pastoral care within a school setting.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school culture.
