Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on the design and analysis of structures within the oil and gas sector. Working under moderate supervision, you will apply your engineering knowledge to solve straightforward structural challenges and contribute to project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Front End Engineering Design (FEED), studies, detailed design, analysis and calculations for complex engineering tasks.
• Prepare clear design calculations, reports and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to gather input, conduct interface reviews and support interdisciplinary checks.
• Conduct computer‑based structural analyses of designs prepared by others, under guidance of senior engineers.
• Review and verify design documents, drafting, material take‑offs (MTOs) and vendor data.
• Assist in preparation of specifications, subcontract documents and bid evaluations.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines and budget constraints while maintaining HSE and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in oil and gas detail design, preferably with a major contractor or consultant.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality management and cost‑conscious execution.
• Flexibility to support other departments, sites or projects as needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FEED processes and detailed structural design.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and computer‑based structural analysis.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, specifications and material take‑offs.
