Strategic Account Executive – Sydney or Melbourne

About the role

Figma is expanding its team of creatives and builders, aiming to make design accessible to all. The Strategic Account Executive will drive sales and expansion with top‑tier enterprise customers, building relationships with C‑level decision‑makers. This position is based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined list of strategic accounts to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Apply discovery and value‑selling techniques to build and strengthen C‑level relationships.
• Align with executives on business challenges and secure sponsorship for enterprise‑wide deployments.
• Conduct analysis to create strategic account plans and identify expansion opportunities.
• Co‑create with cross‑functional partners to position Figma, drive deals forward and ensure customer success.
• Leverage in‑person meetings and networking to advance executive relationships.
• Build compelling business cases and ROI justifications for large, complex deals.

Required profile

• 8+ years of success driving new business and expansion within enterprise software/SaaS, engaging C‑level executives.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of strategic, named accounts and consistently meeting pipeline targets.
• Ability to sell complex technical products through consultative, value‑based approaches.
• Track record of navigating and closing enterprise sales cycles of nine months or longer.
• Proficiency with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC/MEDDICC or Command of the Message.
