Store Manager - Victoria Gardens

About the role

Telstra is hiring a full-time Store Manager for its Victoria Gardens retail store. The role leads store operations, coaches assistant managers and senior consultants and aligns local execution to area sales and service objectives. It suits someone with recent retail management experience who wants to lead from the front and develop a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the store's KPIs (sales and customer service) are met
• Develop and nurture a high-performing, customer-experience-focused team in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain an inclusive store culture
• Lead the recruitment of new store team members
• Collaborate with team members, lead performance reviews and help grow their careers
• Coach assistant managers and senior consultants and support staff development through coaching and succession planning

Required profile

• Demonstrated recent people leadership success in a target-driven retail sales environment
• Able to energise a team to exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Able to resolve customer issues creatively and lead through changes such as products or systems
• Experience leading teams through change
