Store Manager - Albury/Wodonga Area

About the role

ALDI is hiring a Store Manager for its Albury/Wodonga area store. The role is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store and for managing and leading a team, covering sales targets, training and development, and performance across financial, customer, people and compliance results.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the store running smoothly, safe and clean, and uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Train and coach team members, give formal feedback and performance reviews, and help develop future store leaders
• Manage stock and inventory and minimise losses
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys when needed
• Identify improvements and manage resources effectively to hit goals without compromising quality
• Conduct interviews for potential new team members to assist the Area Manager in selecting the right people

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Leadership skills to motivate, mentor and guide a team
• Communication skills that foster collaboration and an inclusive environment
• Goal-oriented mindset, ability to adapt quickly and make informed decisions under pressure
• A professional, fair and responsible approach

What we offer

• Remuneration in the range of $125,195.62 to $164,455.20, including superannuation and predicted bonuses, varying by location, hours and experience
• 45 hours per week contract, with a flexible rotating roster including weekends and early mornings
