Staff Specialist / Visiting Medical Officer in General Medicine

About the role

Hunter New England Local Health District is recruiting a dedicated and experienced General Physician to join the team at Manning Base Hospital in Taree. The role is split between 0.5 FTE General Medicine, providing services to inpatients on the admitting general wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department, and 0.5 FTE with subspecialty availability in Geriatrics, Cardiology, Endocrine, Infectious Disease, Neurology or Gastroenterology. It is a permanent full-time position based on a minimum 18-month commitment.

• Fellowship (RACP) and specialist registration with AHPRA; international medical graduates requiring upskilling and supervision will not be considered
