Staff Specialist in Psychiatry - Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service

About the role

Hunter New England Mental Health Service (HNEMH) is recruiting Staff Specialists in Psychiatry for its Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service in Newcastle, NSW. There are immediate vacancies for General Adult roles, and an eligibility list will be created for future fixed-term and permanent positions in General Adult or Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at other HNEMH facilities such as the Hunter Valley Mental Health Service (Maitland) and Manning Mental Health Service (Taree). Flexible roles are available, either permanent or fixed term.

Required profile

• Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Advanced trainees who expect to complete Fellowship within the next 12 months are also encouraged to apply.
