About the role
Salt Medical Recruitment is offering a locum position for a Rural Generalist or General Practitioner with Emergency Medicine and Primary Care skills in Wadeye, Northern Territory. The placement is FIFO from Darwin, working Monday to Friday at Wadeye Health Centre and returning to Darwin each Friday afternoon. You will work alongside experienced Rural Generalists and Remote Primary Health Care Nurses, with 24/7 telephone support from senior Rural Generalists.
Key responsibilities
- Provide GP services at the clinic Monday to Friday
- Work alongside experienced Rural Generalists and Remote Primary Health Care Nurses
- Use 24/7 telephone support from senior Rural Generalists when needed
Required profile
- FRACGP or FACRRM is essential
- ALS, or APLS or REST required
- Minimum 3-week placement
What we offer
- Pay of $3,000 per day, only from 14 December to 31 January
- Travel and accommodation provided
- Weekend accommodation in Darwin and a housing allowance
- Opportunity to experience the Top End during the dry season
