Sr. Engagement Manager

About the role

The Engagement Manager drives customer value by orchestrating professional services and training engagements on the Databricks platform. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Professional Services, you will partner with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate early with sales to understand customer needs, define success criteria and ensure delivery exceeds expectations.
• Identify upsell and extension opportunities, develop commercial models and leverage Databricks and partner investment vehicles.
• Own the end‑to‑end engagement scope, estimation, statement of work and KPI delivery for Professional Services and Training.
• Resolve delivery challenges, manage resource contentions and maintain clear expectations with customers.

Required profile

• Proven senior customer‑facing experience with strong influencing, negotiating and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with senior executives.
• Track record of identifying customer needs and delivering successful solutions.
• Leadership experience with solid project governance and delivery excellence.

Required skills

• Data and AI domain knowledge.
• Program and service delivery management.
• Effort and scope estimation for professional services.
• Experience meeting KPIs such as CSAT, bookings and revenue.
