Speech Pathologist (New Graduate or Skilled)

About the role

A team of 36 allied health professionals in Darwin is looking for a New Graduate or skilled Speech Pathologist. The team serves NDIS, private and Medicare clients and offers professional development support, competitive pay and flexible working. The role involves seeing 4-5 clients a day (5 billable hours including travel, face-to-face consults and NDIS report writing).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and create tailored therapy plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions.
• Write NDIS reports when required.
• Work with NDIS participants, private clients and Medicare cases.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA).
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.
• New graduates or skilled clinicians are both considered.

What we offer

• Salary from $85,000 to $115,000 plus superannuation, with new graduates starting from $85,000 and more skilled clinicians up to $120,000 plus super.
• $1,000 flexible professional development allowance per year and 3 days of PD leave.
• Weekly, fortnightly or monthly supervision from a senior speech pathologist with 8+ years' experience.
• Flexible start and finish times, option to work a condensed week or 9-day fortnight, and WFH for admin.
• Bonus for exceeding billable hour targets (15% of charge-out rate plus $30 per extra hour).
• Travel allowance, iPad provided, company-paid lunch once a week, and relocation assistance available.
• Team training and social events, with flights to Brisbane for new members.
