Speech Pathologist – Mid Year Graduate Program

About the role

Join Ability Action Australia’s 12‑month Graduate Program as a Speech Pathologist in Hobart. This role is designed for new graduates to develop confidence, clinical skills and professional networks while supporting NDIS participants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, therapy and support to NDIS participants of all ages.
• Complete session notes and documentation promptly, typically on the same day.
• Participate in weekly 1:1 supervision, monthly workshops and structured mentoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver client‑centred care.

Required profile

• Graduating or newly graduated Speech Pathology student, SPA‑registered or eligible upon graduation.
• Empathetic, curious and eager to learn.
• Passionate about helping people communicate and connect.
• Enjoys a fun, supportive team environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of speech pathology assessment and intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with NDIS processes and documentation.
