About the role

Join the Early Start Australia Graduate program as a Speech Pathologist in Launceston. You will work within a close‑knit allied health team, delivering early‑intervention services to children and families while receiving dedicated clinical supervision and mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver early‑intervention speech pathology services, supporting communication, participation and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based, individualised therapy plans aligned with family goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams using a transdisciplinary approach.
• Monitor, review and adapt therapy programmes based on client progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports and NDIS‑related records within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology and registration with the SPA.
• Current Driver’s Licence, vehicle, Working with Children Check and NDIS worker screening.
• Accredited first aid & CPR certificate.
• Strong communication, organisational, observational and report‑writing abilities.
