Speech Pathologist – Allied Health Team

About the role

Join Early Start Australia as a Speech Pathologist and become part of a collaborative allied health team delivering therapy to children and young people across Australia. You will work primarily at our Hobart clinic, providing assessments, individualized therapy programs, and support to families in a variety of settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and develop tailored therapy plans aligned with client goals.
• Deliver therapy services in clinic, home, school, and community environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including speech, psychology, and other health professionals.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes, reports, and documentation within required timeframes.
• Align therapy plans with NDIS funding and ensure correct invoicing.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in solution‑focused therapy and early intervention.
• Strong communication, organisational, and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to engage with children, families, and external stakeholders.
• Capacity to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Speech pathology assessment and intervention techniques.
• Knowledge of NDIS processes and funding models.
• Compliance with AHPRA registration and relevant professional standards.
