Specialist, Labor Pacific

About the role

The Labor Specialist joins Nike’s Retail Operations and Services team to lead scheduling systems and labor cost management across Australian and New Zealand stores. You will partner with Store Leadership, Finance and APLA Retail Operations to turn data into actionable improvements that enhance payroll performance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in labor scheduling and operational processes.
• Partner with Finance and Retail Leadership to develop labor budgets, monitor payroll performance and support store accountability.
• Own day‑to‑day administration, governance and optimisation of workforce management and operational systems.
• Lead implementation of new scheduling, staffing, workload planning and operational measurement capabilities.
• Analyse labour and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating insights into clear recommendations.
• Communicate findings and build capability across stores and territory leadership teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in retail labour planning, workforce management, store operations, finance or analytics.
• High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, consistency and governance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stores and retail concepts.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand, including occasional overnight and weekend trips.

Required skills

• Experience with Workforce Management platforms such as Legion.
• Proficiency in Workload Planning tools.
• Familiarity with Retail Relay, Operational Excellence and Daily Game Plan systems.
• Ability to generate and interpret Store Performance Reporting data.
