Talent Acquisition Advisor

About the role

Join Downer’s Transport & Infrastructure team as a Talent Acquisition Advisor, based at the Collins Street office. You will act as a trusted recruitment partner, collaborating with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, shape sourcing strategies, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences across a broad portfolio of roles.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies for frontline, specialist and senior leadership positions.
• Provide market insights, manage a busy recruitment dashboard, and ensure timely delivery of hiring outcomes.
• Champion inclusive hiring practices and promote equal opportunities for all candidates.

Required profile

• Experience recruiting across a mix of frontline and salaried roles, either in an internal recruitment team or agency environment.
• Strong sense of urgency, ability to meet tight deadlines, and excellent candidate communication skills.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Awards and employment conditions.

Required skills

• Proven sourcing experience using platforms such as Seek Talent Search and LinkedIn Recruiter.
