Specialised Dementia Advisor – Part‑time RN

About the role

HammondCare Waratah is seeking an experienced part‑time Registered Nurse to provide specialised dementia advisory support. The role focuses on person‑centred, relationship‑focused care, working within a consultative and advisory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support care delivery by care staff.
• Educate and mentor staff in clinical areas and processes.
• Provide consultative case management and clinical decision‑making.
• Maintain clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse.
• Implement and support a resident comfort focus.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration with 2‑3 years aged‑care experience.
• Flexible to work Monday‑Friday morning shifts.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge and experience caring for people living with dementia.
• Genuine passion for serving elderly residents.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LeeCare online reporting system.
• Administrative and computer competency.
