SOX Controls Officer (Part time)

About the role
The SOX Controls Officer will support MedHealth's compliance framework, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting processes. You will work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to execute SOX testing and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute SOX compliance testing on a fortnightly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Gather and review documentation from stakeholders to support testing requirements.
- Monitor, track and report compliance findings, non‑conformances and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular compliance reports, status updates and analytical insights for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, controls and operational efficiencies.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
- Experience in SOX compliance, audit, risk or compliance testing.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
