Sous Chef FIFO 2:1 Roster – Western Australia

About the role

Join Sodexo’s diverse chef team as a Sous Chef on a FIFO 2:1 roster based in Western Australia. You will support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner for remote site catering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support staff to maintain a customer‑focused, safe kitchen environment.
• Oversee food service for all meals, ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks and uphold a strong safety culture.
• Assist the Head Chef in leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate – Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full work rights.
• Experience in high‑pressure, high‑volume kitchens and bulk cooking.
• Ability to work flexible rosters, including FIFO arrangements.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of HACCP principles.
• Proficiency in bulk cooking techniques.

What we offer

• Above‑award salary starting at $111,700 per year plus superannuation.
• Additional $10,000 allowance paid through regular pay cycles.
• 2 days on / 1 day off FIFO roster from Perth.
