Software Engineer – .Net & PHP

About the role

Humanforce is looking for a Software Engineer to join its HR squad, working on the full‑stack HR product. The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and involves maintaining existing features while building new ones using React, PHP, NodeJS or .NET.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, maintainable code across the HR product, focusing on React and PHP core functionality and new features in NodeJS or .NET.
• Design system architecture for new implementations and contribute to incremental feature delivery in an agile environment.
• Pair program, conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Address technical debt, manage production issues and ensure reliable releases to cloud environments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with either NodeJS or .NET.
• Proven ability to build full‑stack web applications, including front‑end development in React.
• Comfort using AI tooling as part of the development workflow.
