Software Engineer (Full-Stack – JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the role

We are looking for a talented Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our fully remote, Australia‑based technology team. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, building scalable web applications with modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks while collaborating closely with product managers, designers and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using React, Next.js, Angular or similar frameworks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile delivery environment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Produce technical documentation and uphold coding standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote‑first setting.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a high‑performing engineering culture.

Required skills

• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• React, Next.js, Angular (or similar front‑end frameworks).
• Node.js for backend development.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes (nice‑to‑have).
