Software Craftsperson – Full‑Stack Engineer

About the role

This is a hands‑on full‑stack engineering position based in Australia, focused on building, extending, and maintaining production‑grade systems within a modern ERP ecosystem. You will work autonomously, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions while collaborating closely with users and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications in the Frappe bench ecosystem, extending ERPNext functionality.
• Create and configure custom DocTypes, fields, workflows, and business logic.
• Build hooks, controllers, and REST APIs with proper role‑based access control.
• Debug and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Participate in requirement‑gathering sessions and contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
• Support deployment activities, UAT, and ensure smooth feature adoption.
• Maintain high‑quality code using Git, conduct code reviews, and follow engineering best practices.
• Improve system observability, developer experience, and engineering standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience with the Frappe framework and ERPNext ecosystem.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently without heavy supervision.
• Comfortable operating in Linux/Ubuntu CLI environments and managing deployments.
