Social Media Manager

About the role

Own and evolve the social media strategy for Ferndale’s iconic family‑owned brands, working closely with the Brand Manager to shape campaigns, launches and overall brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a bold, consistent social media strategy across multiple product lines (JILA, JOLS, LICORETTE, So Soft, etc.).
• Create and manage content calendars, oversee posts, reels, stories, short‑form video and user‑generated content.
• Maintain the website, ensure brand consistency and coordinate with internal teams and agencies.
• Engage daily with customers, monitor sentiment and build online communities.
• Identify and manage relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers.
• Plan and run paid social campaigns, track market trends and competitor activity.
• Monitor performance, produce regular analytics reports and turn insights into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
• Proven experience managing social media and digital campaigns, preferably in FMCG, retail or consumer goods.
• Demonstrated ability to grow an online presence and out‑maneuver larger competitors.
• Creative energy paired with strategic thinking and a data‑driven mindset.
