Small Business Specialist (Banking)

About the role

Join ANZ's Business & Private Bank as a Small Business Specialist, delivering lending and working capital solutions to a diverse range of business customers. Based in a Perth branch, you will support both new and existing clients while collaborating with product partners to meet their financial needs.

Key responsibilities

• Meet business customers in‑branch to understand and address their banking requirements.
• Conduct outbound calls to existing customers to identify additional banking needs.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to provide suitable lending and working capital solutions.
• Act in the best interest of customers, recommending appropriate products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships within the local community to generate commercial value.

Required profile

• Strong ability to build and maintain internal and external networks.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
• Capability to assess creditworthiness using qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit).
• Knowledge of small business operations, lending, transaction banking, and working capital solutions.
• Familiarity with financial terminology and the ability to interpret financial statements such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash‑flow statements.
