Site Operations Manager

About the role

This senior operational leadership position reports directly to the Group CEO and carries full P&L ownership for a fast‑paced, 7‑day production facility in North Western Sydney. You will lead a diverse team of about 50 staff across production, packaging, warehousing, maintenance, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the production facility, ensuring output, quality and service targets are met.
• Own the site P&L and manage operational costs including labour, materials, packaging and utilities.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Manage cold‑chain, warehousing and dispatch operations to maintain full food‑safety compliance.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end supply chain, maintaining relationships with growers and exotic‑variety suppliers.
• Maintain HACCP, SQF and WHS compliance obligations.
• Partner with the CEO on performance reporting, cost initiatives and growth strategy.
• Build a high‑performance, safety‑first culture across the workforce.

Required profile

• Significant senior operational or site leadership experience in food manufacturing, fresh produce, FMCG or similar perishable‑goods environment.
• Proven track record of P&L accountability and cost performance.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience in supply chain management, cold‑chain logistics and supplier relationship management.
• Exceptional people leadership across a large, diverse workforce.
