Site Manager

About the role

Sika Australia is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead its Production and Warehouse teams. You will ensure safe, efficient plant operations while supporting the company's commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production and Warehouse staff, providing direction and support.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement quality, safety, health, and environmental systems.
• Oversee safe operation of plant equipment, conduct hazard analyses, and manage preventive maintenance programmes.
• Develop production schedules to meet customer demand while controlling costs and resources.
• Monitor productivity, investigate downtime, and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate logistics for product deliveries and manage purchase orders for projects and maintenance.
• Maintain a register of approved contractors and supervise on‑site contractors for safety and environmental compliance.
• Support the QC Laboratory to meet product and environmental standards.
• Maintain records of plant maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Promote waste minimisation, FIFO raw‑material use, and high housekeeping standards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, participate in audits, and report operational performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Proven ability to lead site operations effectively.
• Background in production and warehouse management.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP software packages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
