Site Foreman – Construction Site Leader

About the role

The Foreperson is responsible for coordinating on‑site teams to ensure construction activities are carried out according to project plans, specifications, and within time and budget constraints. The role also supports site safety, quality, environmental control and risk identification.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all phases of construction projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
• Lead health, safety and environment management on site.
• Organise tools, plant, machinery, materials and workers; supervise daily construction activities.
• Develop work methods, short‑term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.
• Prepare progress reports, shift handovers and regular updates for the Site or Project Manager.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in a relevant construction field.
• 5–10 years of construction experience, preferably in a leadership role managing site operations.
• Familiarity with all trades, construction contracts and methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold a construction white card and a telehandler licence.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using digital tools on site.
