Services Engagement Director

About the role

The Services Engagement Director shapes how Genesys Professional Services helps customers turn customer experience strategy into implementation, consulting and managed services engagements. The role owns the development and progression of strategic services opportunities, influences customer investment decisions and drives services bookings that support revenue growth. It sits within senior pursuit teams alongside Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and services leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of strategic Professional Services opportunities across implementation, consulting and managed services to meet quarterly bookings objectives
• Align Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and Professional Services leaders to build coordinated pursuit strategies
• Build a pipeline of services opportunities by identifying customer needs, pursuing qualified leads and expanding relationships with current and prospective clients
• Lead customer presentations and proposals that connect Genesys services to customer objectives and expected value
• Negotiate and close complex services engagements and contribute to strategic and tactical planning for Professional Services
• Partner with senior leaders and pursuit teams on high-value opportunities

Required profile

• 5+ years of business experience, including at least 3 years of customer-facing sales in business solutions, telecommunications, technology or a related services environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience
• Ability to travel approximately 25% to 50%
• Work rights in Australia; no agency resumes accepted
